BCOA 2008

Judged by Ms Lena Tamboer (Regular Classes)

in Sacramento, California

I made a very major boo-boo in my entries for Sacramento.  I entered the classes for the California specialty the day after the National instead of the BCOA classes.  Opps.  Won't make that mistake again.  But, I went with Konchar entered in LGRA.  He was, after all, rated 2nd in the country that year.  And, I took Alex for running and CA Specialty class he was entered in.  It was a heck of a drive on the way out there.  I got stuck in Cheyenne, WY for a day and a half because of a blizzard.

Konchar placed 3th in the BCOA LGRA event.  He was the highest scoring borzoi that also had a confirmation championship title and got a really nice ribbon for that.

Broker placed 2nd in large open dog class.  This is not the photo from BCOA, but at this moment, we can't find that photo.

Alex placed 4th in the Bred-by class I did enter him in at the California Specialty under Judge Karen Dumke.

Karen & Mike and Scott & I shared a 3 bedroom cottage at this National that had a cute little FENCED backyard.  What luck that was to have an area where we could let the dogs have a little yard time every day.  While the drive out here was a long one, it was a beautiful venue and we had a great vacation while still holding our own in the classes we were entered in.
